Marjorie Cobby House are looking for a part time cook to support the operation of a kitchen in a busy resource centre, responding to emergencies, hospital discharge and planned respite stays.

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritionally balanced and appetising meals for the customers, planning, ordering and purchasing food and kitchen supplies and be able to keep accurate records on paper and on a computer.

You will undertake a variety of tasks which results in the operation of the establishment’s kitchen.

You will have experience of communicating with vulnerable adults and will be required to involve them in menu planning as well as supporting them to learn cookery skills, where appropriate.
