Chichester Free School is looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic ICT Technician to support, maintain and develop our IT network. You will lead the support of our network under the close direction of the School Business Manager.

Working closely with the School Business Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing server desktop and network support to students and staff on a daily basis. This is a full time post as most projects and upgrades are completed during the academic holidays.

For this role you need proven experience in:

• Microsoft Windows 7&8
• Microsoft Server 2012
• Microsoft Windows Active Directory
• Group policy management
• Desktop hardware support
• iPad and Apple device management

You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all staff and students. The ideal candidate will be customer focused and be able to work flexibly.

You will:

• be flexible and adaptable to work with the changing needs of the school
• be an experienced IT Technician
• be approachable and friendly with all pupils, parents and staff
• have the ability to work with interruptions
