Fernhurst Primary School, Fernhurst
21 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum
Initially, one year fixed-term
GBP 19,455 - GBP 21,897 per annum, pro rata
Salary equates to: GBP 9,729 - GBP 10,950 per annum
Taking responsibility for a wide range of operational activities, the Finance Officer will maintain accurate financial and budgetary records, producing reports and returns that enable the Trust's Business Manager to ensure the school is financially stable and compliant with all regulatory reporting. Duties include preparing timely data returns, processing invoices, credit notes and payments, including cash, and the accurate administration of payroll, including maintaining staff records and supporting capital project activities.
An understanding of best practice in business and administration management, with current and relevant experience in the preparation of accounts and financial statements is required. Ideally with knowledge of the school or academy funding framework and statutory regulations, you will require a flexible approach in order to adapt to the changing needs of the school and demands of the post.
