We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic person to join our busy Permissions Team. The successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Director and the Wiley Global Permissions Team and provide excellent service to customers, both internally and externally, who wish to re-use globally published Wiley book, journal and database content in a growing range of formats. 

Responsibilities include dealing with both manual and automated permission requests via the busy Permissions Email box and RightsLink in a speedy and efficient manner; consistent application of Wiley’s global permissions policy; ensuring compliance with author and society contracts; accurate record keeping and report generation for monthly team meetings and as requested, and supporting the Team in identifying and generate new revenue opportunities for Wiley content.  

Reporting to the Director of Global Rights & Permissions this position will be part of the wider Global Permissions team.

 

Selection criteria

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to communicate effectively through a variety of media (electronic, phone and face to face)

  • Competent and efficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

  • Ability to use initiative, cope under pressure and work to time constraints

  • Previous experience of working with databases and spreadsheets is essential

  • Previous experience of running reports and knowledge of SalesForce.com is desirable.

  • Basic understanding of what Global Rights entails would be advantageous
