Do you have experience of working (paid or voluntary) in a care related field? Are you approachable and able to communicate sensitively to a wide range of people?

Although demanding the role of an Independence Support Assistant is incredibly rewarding. With your own caseload and working directly with clients and their carers you will be supporting people eligible for social care assistance. You will assist and advise them, enabling them to have maximum choice, control and power over the support services they receive, which in turn will allow them to achieve the best possible quality of life and the equality of independent living wherever possible.
