Mill Chase Academy would like to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor who will take classes for absent teachers. This role would be suited to someone who wishes to work in a secondary school and make a difference to our students' learning as an engaging and passionate individual to help, inspire and motivate young people. The role is primarily to oversee classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, actively supporting the progress of students and recognising that every lesson is a rich opportunity to learn.
Experience of behaviour/classroom management and working with groups of 11-16 year olds is preferred but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.
