The University Of Chichester Institute Of Sport is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Technician within the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences. The post holder will manage and plan the deployment of technical staff and resources to ensure that the work of the laboratories is supported effectively and efficiently in liaison with Field Leaders and the Head of Department.

The post holder will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the laboratories,supervision of classes and co-ordination of the use of research facilities for student project work and research.

You will have extensive previous experience and given the nature of the role, you will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in the implementation of Health and Safety legislation with particular reference to COSHH regulations. Line management or supervisory experience is essential as are exceptional communication skills and a high degree of computer literacy.
