This is a new post for a self-motivated individual who wants to work in an ambitious and fast growing commercial property company. Property background and/or qualifications are important but so is passion for the subject and a can-do approach. Our expansion has created this position.

Kingsbridge Estates Ltd is privately owned and invests in large office and industrial buildings, business parks, apart-hotels, food production and manufacturing facilities. We have a hard-working, open and 'can do' workplace and aim to create job satisfaction in a rewarding environment.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Estates Director, you will be responsible for managing circa £34m of existing estate. The role combines estates management issues for owned sites and leased premises, landlord and tenant practice, employer's agent and small project management. This is essentially an asset management position designed to add value and protect the existing estate rather than a pure property management role.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Managing our multi-let estates and providing added value.

  2. Regular site visits and ad hoc visits to maintain our presence and standards.

  3. Managing all landlord and tenant matters, and occasional land issues.

  4. Initiating, commissioning and evaluating all works and maintenance for the existing estate.

  5. Managing infrastructure such as utilities, small civils, procuring contract works.

  6. Guiding health and safety policies, implementing improved practice in contract works.

  7. Management of the property database.

  8. Producing project plans, along with relevant communication documents to stakeholders.

  9. Implementing our vacant business rates strategy and preparing planning applications.

  10. Develop new income streams and maximise the potential of the portfolio.

We are committed to the development of staff, through training, mentoring and personal development and have an open and honest culture.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to A level standard or college diploma in a relevant subject area
    and/or

  • RICS Qualified Professional or relevant qualification or RICS pre-APC level

Expected Salary Range:
Dependant upon experience
