The Research Design Service South Central (RDS SC) are seeking to appoint a Research Advisor, based in the School of Health Sciences and Social Work.  Working with colleagues across the RDS SC, the role provides health and social care practitioners with methodological expertise and advice whilst preparing research grant applications.  RDS SC is part of a nationwide network of NIHR funded services, aiming to increase the quantity and quality of grant applications from within Health and Social Care services

You will contribute to the design of research projects and grant applications to NIHR funding streams.  You will be part of an integrated team, including Epidemiologists, Statisticians, Health Economists and other Health Service Researchers.   RDS SC aims to support an increase in successful grant applications in the South Central region, through direct consultations with researchers themselves and the provision of Masterclass training to groups of health and social care practitioners.
