With experience of working in a customer care environment, you will enjoy working with library customers and have excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient provision of a customer facing library and information service, undertaking a wide range of library support tasks to ensure a good level of customer service. The role involves periods of lone working and working alongside, and providing guidance to volunteers.
You will be computer literate and have the ability to use your initiative and work effectively within the team. You will also have active involvement in working with all ages, including children’s work (e.g. Baby Rhyme Time and Story Time).
This is an active role and lifting will be required.
Salary £13,321 - £14,013 (£2,340 - £2,461 pro rata) plus a Saturday Enhancement

6.5 hours per week
