The prime focus of this role will be to provide a regular minibus service for staff and students between campuses. The post holder will provide an effective and punctual service driving between sites and locations in a University vehicle, transporting a variety of materials, post, leaflets, books, stores and stationery.
Additionally, the post holder will be required to support a diverse range of other activities assisting other members of the Estate Management Department in the smooth and successful delivery of services. These include: assisting with the day to day coordination, sorting, maintenance and administration of the postal function; general Estate Administration activity including car park duties, snow clearance and helping other Estate staff in caretaking or maintenance duties as required.
All of which require the highest level of customer service and the ability to prioritise workload and work well within a small team or alone. This role will require a full clean driving licence (and either a MIDAS or other qualification for the transportation of people) and a smart business-like appearance including the wearing of a uniform and safety shoes.
