We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join the team of a prestigious food production company. This role would suit a Proactive, astute and driven person who is looking to help drive the role to the next level.

The successful candidate will possess and demonstrate the following skills and experience:-

- Previous experience as an Engineering manager for a large company. - Championed Continual Improvement and change management. - Strong communication and people skills. - Experience of Capital expenditure and plans. - People management experience such as Grievances, Disciplinaries, Performance Management. - Knowledge of OEE data and proven experience of analysis and corrective action. - Experience of identifying and developing new production methods. - An Engineering Degree is advantageous but not essential.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:-

- The day to day safety of Temporary staff and Contractors ensuring relevant permits, insurance and risk assessments are completed correctly. - Oversee Audits, Inspections and Safety tours of the responsible area. - Responsible for the PPE, Accident and Incident Investigation and Health & Safety records. - Control and Co-ordinate the Engineering for the site ensuring optimum efficiency with continued development help drive and develop the department and the role. - Organise training activities for individual requirements and evaluate the outcome. - Monitor and control budgets and ensure targets are achieved.
