Library Services Department Information Assistant x 2 (0.5 fte) 6 month Fixed Term Contract We are currently seeking to recruit two Information Assistants within the Library Services Department. These posts will be on a fixed-term contract basis for a six month period.

The post holders will be required to provide a support service for all LRC users, including information, advice and instruction, and, to undertake essential administrative Library functions including book acquisitions, mostly through the full operation of the TALIS library management system.

Applicants will need to possess excellent verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills, and you must be able to demonstrate confidence in dealing with a wide range of people. Experience in using Microsoft Office Systems particularly Excel is essential. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate effective time management and organisation and administrative skills, together with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Campus base: Based at the Bognor Regis Campus but required to work at any centre where University business is conducted that is within reasonable distance of the campus base. _____________________________________________________________________________________
