Reporting to the Event Team Leader, you will be responsible for effectively handling confirmed events from the planning stage through to the delivery of the event, ensuring all client requirements are ascertained, organised and accurately communicated to the operational team; ensuring customer delight and the achievement of the venues targets.


You will have excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to work confidently and efficiently around customers and suppliers, along with a passion to deliver exceptional results and the ability to anticipate guests' needs and exceed expectations in both the private and corporate market.


The successful candidate will have relevant experience working in a hospitality or service industry with either previous experience in event planning or an operational environment. Excellent organisational skills, a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate initiative are fundamental. . In addition, excellent customer service skills are essential.


The role requires flexibility in working hours and some weekend working.


Due to the rural location of the Goodwood Estate, own or reliable transport is essential.
