Our client is looking for a part time "Senior Social Work Practitioner in Worthing to work as a member of the Children & Family Centre Team to supervise referral, case allocation and case management of a team, undertaking parenting assessments and interventions including group work and 1:1 support.

 

The purpose of the role is to lead the team that provides direct 1:1 and group based support for families as part of a programme of targeted activities, within the Children & Family Centre and the wider community.

To offer social work input to the wider Children & Family Centre team and develop the professional practice of Social Workers, Family Support Workers and Family Outreach Workers, whilst managing referral allocations to the family support team.

 

The hours of work are 28 hours per week.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience of working with young children and/or families

You must already hold a relevant Social Work Qualification Dip SW, CQSE or equivalent and be GSCC registered.

Our client is looking for a "Children and Family Centre Manager" in Worthing that can deliver the full core offer, alongside a referral based family support service.

 

The purpose of the role is to provide leadership, management and development to a diverse team, to deliver a child-centred service that improves outcomes for local families.

The hours of work are usually 40 hours per week, 9-5 Monday to Friday but will be suit the home and include on call.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager and have a proven track record of working with children and their families.

You must be qualified to Dipsw, CQSW or Degree in Social Work level and be prepared to work towards NPQICL. Additional managerial qualifications would be advantageous.
