We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to manage a small team responsible for repairs and maintenance within the Hotel and our members Club, The Kennels.
Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager the purpose of this role is to organise and supervise the repairs, alterations and improvements to these properties and be responsible for the upkeep of the plant equipment and various related systems. This will involve directing a team of experienced in-house tradesmen and external contractors as well as being hands on. Candidates will need to have excellent communication skills as the role involves regular contact with a wide variety of internal and external contacts at all levels.
Candidates will have a broad range of relevant experience covering industrial, commercial and domestic buildings, working on old and new buildings and experience of managing a team of various trades. Amongst other requirements for this role, you will have experience in the management of Health and Safety and preparing and working to budgets and programmes, you will be able to motivate a team and have an astute attention to detail and quality.
Due to the rural location of the Goodwood Estate, own transport is essential.
