An incredible opportunity has arisen to join our Private Members Yacht Club in Chichester as a Bar and Events Manager.

You will be jointly responsible for the running of the Bar and the organisation of Club and Private Events, including Weddings & Conferencing. This is the ideal role for an individual looking to move up the ladder in the Hospitality trade whilst working in a stunning location on the water's edge of Chichester Harbour. 

Working alongside and reporting to the Club Hospitablity Manager, you will be jointly responsible for a team of 15-20 staff, ensuring that the Bar and Events runs smoothly and to budget. You will also need to actively market and generate new business to increase the number of private events held at the Club.

Whilst working with us at Chichester Yacht Club you will receive free meals during your shift, use of our facilities, free parking and at least 3 days off during the Christmas period.

Applicants should have experience of controlling a busy bar environment, organising and completing events and hold relevant qualifications. Previous experience in Sales and Marketing would be advantageous. Extra requirements include being flexible and available to work regular weekends, evenings and bank holidays; the location of the Club requires staff to have their own transport. You must also have documented proof of right to work in UK.

Salary in the region of £20,000 pa (negotiable) depending on experience plus performance related bonus scheme.
