Kingsham Primary School, Chichester

6.25 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)

Kingsham Primary School is set in spacious grounds close to the centre of Chichester. The school has a strong sense of community for the 220 pupils with a set of shared values which underpin the life of the school. The dedicated team of staff and Governors strive to create an environment in which every child is a happy and successful learner:  confident - independent - motivated.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our lunchtime supervision team.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual who is able to motivate and inspire our pupils during the lunch period.  Encouraging them to engage in activity, make healthy choices and maintain good behaviour while ensuring the environment around them is clean and safe.

With experience of working with children, ideally in an infant age setting, you will have excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to communicate with a wide range of people, especially the pupils.  You will be resilient and hard working with an ability to work on your own initiative while understanding the need to work as part of a cohesive team.

As part of the University of Chichester Academy Trust you will have access to additional opportunities and benefits.  You will find that each academy has a unique identity, with a share belief in creating a positive and enriching environment, where staff feel valued.

Closing date:                 Wednesday, 23 August 2017 at 12.00 noon

Interview date:              Week commencing 29th August 2017 - tbc

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
