We are pleased to be able to offer a Graduate-on Internship opportunity within our Finance Department, this opportunity is open to our current students and recent Graduates of the University of Chichester. 

The fixed-term Internship will ideally suit current students or recent graduates looking to secure employment within a Finance environment.  This paid Graduate-on Internship will give you a real opportunity to gain varied and valuable work experience in a busy Finance Department.
This is a fixed term contract for up to 12 weeks worked June to September 2017.

The post holder will be actively involved in preparations and actions leading up to year-end, and will primarily work closely with the Management Accounts team as well as providing support to the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll teams.

The post will involve liaison and networking with staff both within Finance and across the wider University, helping ensure that necessary actions to achieve year end deadlines are completed in a timely manner.

You will need an adaptable and flexible approach to work and have a genuine desire to pursue a career within Finance.  Applicants will have demonstrable verbal and written skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.  A good understanding of finance and accounting and numeracy skills is essential, some practical experience of working with an accounting database system and other accounting software would be an advantage but is not essential.
